Personality is your secret weapon

The most important pillar of content...

If you're avoiding personal posts because you think they're "unprofessional," you're killing your Personal Brand.

In fact, you’re not building brand — you’re building an account.

Here's why:

Your ideal clients don't just want another faceless business.

They want to connect with a real person who gets their struggles and can help them win.

Every time I share something personal - whether it's about my Army days, traveling to Bali, or training Jiu Jitsu - I see deeper engagement than my pure business content.

Think about it:

  • Personal content builds trust

  • People remember stories, not statistics

  • Your unique experiences set you apart

  • Authenticity attracts your ideal clients

I always give these examples to my clients:

If you post about getting engaged, one of your ideal prospects just got engaged too… now they relate to you.

If you post about getting a dog, one of your ideal prospects just got a dog too… now they relate to you.

And so on.

You don't need to share everything. But sprinkle in those personal moments. They're not just posts - they're bridges to real connections.

That's how you build a brand that lasts.

Hope this helps,

Marcos
