The honest truth on fakers...
I was listening to a GaryVee podcast about Faking it Till You Make It.
And I think I’ve had enough proximity to this to expand.
It’s impossible for us to build brands for Fakers.
This is why we vet each potential client and make sure they’re successful entrepreneurs before signing them.
Reason?
Content is hard when you can’t speak from experience
We make every client tell us their story and spill the beans on ALL of their expertise, testimonials, experiences, etc.
Building brand takes time, and fakers can’t afford time
They think they’re going to blow up in 3 weeks with our viral content but in reality, that’s only possible when you’re a true expert.
So what does this mean for you?
If you’re not an expert in something, you need to focus on becoming one before building your Personal Brand.
It’s 10x easier/faster to create good content and build a loyal audience when you speak from personal experience.
So instead of ‘fake it till you make it’:
Focus on having conviction and direction while being in a season of learning.
Hope this was insightful.
Cheers,
Marcos
P.S. The 𝕏 (Twitter) MBA course is gaining a lot of traction - I’m emailing the next 5 buyers personally and building a custom module of your choice.
